Through this lesson, students learn that transportation is how people get from one place to another. Students participate in a series of pantomimes, acting out several methods of transportation and then working in teams to identify and classify examples of transportation in three different modes: land, water, and air. The result is that students have a foundational understanding that helps them to be aware of transportation options.
