Lesson 1: Climate Change

Since the industrial revolution, fossil fuels have become one of the primary energy sources used by humans. Largely as a result of burning fossil fuels, the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has been rapidly rising. This lesson introduces the fundamental processes related to climate change, such as the greenhouse effect and the carbon cycle. Students will learn the basic science of climate change as well the associated opportunities and challenges.
